Description: The ground is top centre of the photograph (marked in blue). To the left of the main stand you can see the allotments where the training pitch is now. Beyond the ground you can see a long coal train on the railway. To the right of the ground is Princess Street and Wheldon Lane school (no longer there) where I went to school. In the middle ground are the rows of terraced houses that used to be opposite the ground. In the foreground is Hickson's chemical factory.
