20th June 1987 in the Stade Mazicou, Albi, South of France, Castleford beat Halifax to win the Rugby Football League Winners Cup. The victorious team shown celebrating after the victory was back l/r Mick Morgan, Keith England, Wayne Thornton, John Blackburn, Keith Jones, Giles Boothroyd, Shaun Irwin, Grant Anderson, Dave Sampson, Alan Marchant.
