Description: A colour postcard of Carlton Street, Castleford in the Edwardian period. The large building to the left of the picture closest to the viewer is the public library with the market hall next to it. Tramlines can clearly be seen among the cobbles of the street, and on the left is a horse drawn cart belonging to D. Waite and Sons.
