Description: 26th February 1994, the joys of pre-Summer rugby. Groundsman Steve Kirk and other volunteers work hard to soak up a waterlogged Wheldon Road pitch in an attempt to get the Challenge Cup game against Widnes playable. He succeeded and 6,062 rugby fans watched Castleford win 30-6.
